As part of the Erasmus + Mult'culture-Promote Education for Cultural Heritage project, students of the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn, at the school common room, they learned about traditional board and sports games. They learned the rules of fair play, mutual cooperation and fair competition. They learned the rules of chess and checkers. They played popular board games such as mushroom picking or hot potato, as well as jumping rope, playing hopscotch, tic-tac-toe. First-grade students also participated in sports competitions, where they could face their own weaknesses and strengths. All these activities were a great lesson in mutual acceptance and integration of all children. Here is a short photo report:
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
