As part of the Erasmus + Mult'culture-Promote Education for Cultural Heritage project, on November 6, 2020, class IIa students of the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn under the leadership of Ms. Monika Walas, they prepared a short performance entitled "Who's Afraid of the Forest?", Based on the contemporary Polish fairy tale writer Marcin Przewoźniak. Przewoźniak is known for his exceptionally light and humorous books ("Nicolaus Copernicus. The Boy Who Reached the Stars", "Discoverers of the Pharaoh's Tomb. Howard Carter on the Trail of Tutankhamun", or "The Great Book of Riddles"). It often takes kids to a fantastic world with characters such as dwarfs, gnomes and fairies. It passes on to children important values in the life of every human being and the principles of good manners. He is the author of many fairy tales, poems and works that appear in school textbooks. And here it can be said that the children stepped into the writer's shoes by interpreting his short story "Who was afraid of the forest?". They also took to heart the writer's maxim: “teaching-fun, entertaining-teaching” and presented in an acting manner the message that is so relevant today that one should always respect nature and take care of its beauty. I must admit that they did it in a daring manner and who knows, maybe a few of them will choose the path to acting in the future. For the viewer, this show becomes a "living library" in times of the corona virus pandemic.
