Today at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn, we hosted the two-time Olympic rowing Olympian from Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo, Maria Wierzbowska and representatives of the Pho3nix Foundation. Our guests conducted on February 22, 2022. great sports workshops, which were an award for our school for being among the 10 most active schools in the country, in the competition organized in 2021 by the Pho3nix Foundation for the most active school during the pandemic. Our students from cash registers I - VIII took part in the workshops that lasted from the very morning. At the beginning, they could personally meet our two-time Olympian Maria Wierzbowska, world runner-up and runner-up in Europe from 2017, as well as the two-time bronze medalist from the 2018 and 2019 European Championships in the four rowing women without a helmsman. Mrs. Maria talked about her path to sport, as well as to international successes. Then, together with the representatives of the Pho3nix Foundation, she conducted wonderful workshops, where each participant checked their sports predispositions. Finally, there was time for autographs and shared selfies. At this point, we would like to thank the team of the Pho3nix Foundation and Mrs. Maria Wierzbowska for extraordinary activities, unforgettable impressions and stimulating our motivation to practice physical activity.
