November 20, 2020 we celebrated at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski - Patron's Day. It was an opportunity to learn about the life and work of this great writer, who was born in Strawczyn on October 14, 1864, and died in Warsaw on November 20, 1925. This year, during the pandemic and distance learning, students could take part in art, recitation and writing competitions prepared by the Student Council, the Humanities Team and the Erasmus + Mult'culture-Promote Education for Cultural Heritage project team. The basis of the competitions was Żeromski's great work addressed to children and youth, entitled "Sisyphean work". There were also educational lessons, where the writer's biography and his greatest works were discussed.
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
