On November 14, we will celebrate the 5th World Day of the Poor, so the School Self-Government, the School Club "Caritas", the School Volunteer Club and the School Day Care Center joined the "Gift smelling good" campaign for the homeless, coordinated by the Diocesan Volunteer Center in Kielce. Our students, supported by parents, educators and teachers, collected toiletries (soaps, toothpastes and brushes, razors and shaving foams, small towels, deodorants and antiperspirants) for the homeless for 2 weeks. On November 5, all the collected supplies were taken by the caretaker of the SU and Mrs. M. Ciszek to the Diocesan Volunteer Center located on Mała Street in Kielce, where they will be handed over to the homeless.
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
