On November 5, at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn, we celebrated the International Day of Fairy Tale Characters. Our school library was the coordinator of the entire project. On that day, the youngest students dressed up as favorite characters from fairy tales and books for children, and during breaks between classes they could listen to fragments of their favorite and most famous fairy tales read by their older colleagues. The aim of the event was to popularize reading among students and traditional non-violent fairy tales, where good wins and evil is punished. Here is a short photo report:
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
