November 20, 1925 The great writer and patron of our school, Stefan Żeromski, dies in Warsaw. He was born in Strawczyn on October 14, 1864. and his childhood is closely connected with the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. He was an outstanding writer and author of such works as: "Przedwiośnie", "Ashes", "Homeless people" or "Sisyphean works". Just today, in our school, we celebrated the feast of our patron. From the very morning, students from the Students' Self-Government were questioning their colleagues about the knowledge of Stefan Żeromski's life and work, handing out sweet surprises for correct answers. Posters about the most important moments of this great writer were also created, which SU placed on the hall of the first floor. The climax was the solemn appeal prepared by the students of grades 7a and 5a. It all started with the school's anthem, followed by the pupils' performances, which introduced the figure of Stefan Żeromski and fragments of his greatest works. Here is a short photo report:
