Romania. Pia Bratianu School. January activities

Culture Week: Exhibition of all works created as part of the project;

Due to the pandemic, schools in Romania have been closed since October and it has not been possible to organize a "Culture Week". However, we did a short film with photos of all our activities throughout the project. These activities along with all the works / works of our students are visible. This short film covers the work of about 800 students and 35 teachers, many special guests, personalities, parents, NGOs who were involved in and supported our activities.

"I am a citizen of Europe":

1 - World Composer's Day;

 200 students (grades I, preparatory, II and III) took part in workshops organized by 10 teachers on the occasion of the World Composer's Day. Drawings, paintings, music workshops, auditions, presentations using PPT and Jamboard were held online. Students had the opportunity not only to deepen their cultural knowledge on the subject, but also to experience music (auditions, performances, interactive activities)

 2 - World Day of Peace;

 The online events were attended by 400 primary school students (preparatory classes -4th grade) and 22 teachers (primary school teachers, English language and music teachers). This topic is especially liked by young students, which can be seen in all their works (paintings, drawings, presentations, debates). Culture is indeed a powerful tool to sharpen the mind, but also connect different perspectives regardless of any prejudices.

Here are some snapshots:
