As part of the Erasmus + Mult'culture-Promote Education for Cultural Heritage of Children project at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn, could participate in the celebrations related to the World Day of Peace. The World Day of Peace itself falls on January 1 and was established on the initiative of the French philosopher, traveler and humanist Raoul Follereau by Pope Paul VI in 1967. In our school, we also wanted to introduce our students to what this day is and how important it is to maintain peace in the world. Here is a short photo report of our activities:
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
