December 20, 2019 in the school in Strawczyn, students of grades VII and VIb under the care of priest A. Koćwin prepared a staging of "Nativity". It should be remembered that Christmas is a spectacle about Christmas modeled on medieval Franciscan mysteries. It was initiated by Saint. Francis of Assisi in 1223, and they came to Poland from Italy at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries. The Polish name "Jasełka" comes from the old Polish word jasło meaning manger. Less often they are called "Christmas Crib". Our students have tried to recall this centuries-old tradition, although they have placed the story of Joseph, Mary and the birth of Jesus in today's world. The whole story was seasoned with beautiful Christmas carols, and at the end Mrs. Błaszczyk handed diplomas and awards for Christmas competitions: the most beautiful Christmas newspaper and Christmas decoration.
