May 17, 2019 in Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn was organized Entrepreneurship Day, which finalized one of the Erasmus + project points "EduKultura". Eager students from the 4th-8th grades of the Primary School and the 3rd Middle School became the owners of their own companies producing folk handicrafts. Appropriately, they received a certain amount of office supplies - tissue, crepe paper, wire, colored paper, string, etc. (each company the same) and made products for sale. They were beautiful flowers made from tissue paper, fabric or crepe paper. The next step was the valuation of their products, which then on 17 May were put on previously prepared stands. On this day, the students of the Primary and Secondary School received, in a specially created bank, the right amount of money - 2 euros. For this cash, each student could purchase the displayed goods. The company that earned the most for its products won. Of course, during the sale, the students learned marketing and advertising, encouraging buyers that their goods are the best and the most beautiful and by negotiating the price. Admittedly, the students were delighted with this day. We were able to teach them the basics of entrepreneurship, but also to promote forgotten skills of folk crafts.
