A break for reading at ZPO Strawczyn.
Traditionally, May 20, 2019. our school took part in the campaign "All of Poland Reads to Children". The purpose of this event was, among others promotion of reading books among children and youth, introducing them to the world of literature, stimulating children's imagination, developing and extending their knowledge about the world, or bringing authors of Polish and European literature closer: Wanda Chotomska, Jan Brzechwa, Astrid Lindgren, Grimm Brothers, Hans Christian Andersen or Charles Perrault.
As part of this action, our students for a long break brought the books of their favorite authors and participated in breaking the record for as many people reading in the break as possible. Older students went to the youngest classes, where they read fragments of children's favorite books. V grade students went to the Municipal Public Library in Strawczyn, where they participated in the meeting with the author of children's books, Mr. Zbigniew Kołba.
