As part of the project - Education through Culture "Multculture Erasmus +" during the 2019/2020 school year, there will be a series of meetings between students of the Primary School in Strawczyn with professional musicians who will bring children closer to the world of music. The first such meeting took place on October 28, 2019. and concerned European court music from the Baroque period. Musicians of the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Oskar Kolberg in Kielce presented to students fragments of Baroque music dominating the courts of Italian, German, Polish and French monarchs. There was also an opportunity to learn about popular period instruments: zither and viola da gamba. Students could also learn the basic steps of the minuet and dance to the rhythm of baroque music. This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
