On October 1, 2019. at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski elections were held for the School Council and Youth Commune Council. Already in September, eager students submitted their candidatures to the teacher, and then, as in real elections, submit their election program and run an election campaign among students. Each of the candidates also had to meet the criterion of at least very good behavior and to collect the appropriate number of student signatures supporting the given candidate. The entire election campaign lasted until September 30, so that the next day scheduled elections could take place. On this day, an election commission from class VIb, previously appointed, held elections to the School Council and Youth Council of the Municipality in Strawczyn in grades I - VIII. It was a great opportunity for students to learn about democracy and free elections.
