On September 15, children celebrated International Democracy Day. Class IV of the Primary School took a trip to the Commune Office in Strawczyn, where she talked
with representatives of local authorities, among others mayor, councilors and employees of our office. The children could hear what democracy, power division, local elections and what the commune council does, and what the head of commune does.
The other classes took part in the preparations for the democratic elections of the Student Council.
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
