In March, we put special emphasis on the development of manual skills, all classes realized art lessons. The first classes made butterflies, with the technique of symmetry, class III painted portraits of the heroes of H. Sienkiewicz's book "In the desert and the wilderness". The V, VI classes performed folk cutouts and medals from plasticine and clay.
All students also took part in a competition organized by the Students' Self-Government for the most beautiful image of spring. The spring dominated in the subject of class 0-III classes. The children watched images related to this time of the year, talked about their feelings, painted the spring landscape. They also made Marzanna's puppet - a symbol of winter, which according to tradition had to be destroyed so that spring could come.
All works with the image of spring, made with various techniques, hung on ropes and created a beautiful exhibition of works entitled "Big laundry." Students, teachers, parents and guests could admire it.
German teacher Eliza Zelazna, also has experience and qualifications for teaching entrepreneurship, she conducted classes for younger students (6-11 years) in the field of entrepreneurship. Children learned the basic economic concepts (market, profit, cost, loss, money, income), learned what a business plan, a bank loan. They talked about money, savings, shopping, the distribution of expenses in the home budget. Students are eager to play the game Monopoly, which is a useful tool for learning entrepreneurship.
