As tradition requires, March 21, 2019. We celebrated at Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn "First Spring Day". The tradition of this day was connected with the culture of our Slav's ancestors and the celebrations of Jarego Godów, during which the most important custom was saying goodbye to winter, consisting of ritual burning or drowning of a puppet symbolizing Marzanna, the goddess of winter and death. In our school, the day before, you could see an unusual exhibition in the school liaison "Spring Laundry", where the best competition works of students from grades 0-IV were exhibited, whose theme was "Pani Wiosna". The following day, March 21, the students started their education with the preparation of a spring breakfast. And that's how delectable and intricately made by young MasterChefs, sandwiches, appetizers and vegetable and fruit cocktails. Then everyone, obligatorily with a green element in their wardrobe, gathered in the gym. It was here that the second part of the joint celebration of the spring calendar coming was held. First, our school's fashion creators stood for the competition for the most beautiful spring outfit. Then, vocal performances began, where the students presented songs related to the spring. The last point of the program was the presentation by the Director of diplomas for students distinguished in individual competitions. Here is a short photojournalism from this day:
