On 9/11/2018, at ZPO Strawczyn, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. The whole ceremony began with the solemn entrance of the students, the step of the national polonaise. Then, the banner of the school was introduced and together the four verses of the national anthem were sung - "Mazurka DÄ…browskiego". Then the students, using patriotic poems, monologues and dance songs and performances, told a short history of Poland from the loss of independence, through national uprisings to the outbreak of World War I and recovery in 1918. independence through our homeland. At the end, the students went outside the school and created a vivid, white and red flower. Also commemorated was the hundredth anniversary of independence by the release of 100 pigeons.
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
