For moms at SP Strawczyn.

 On May 26, as every year, we celebrated at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn, "Mother's Day". Each class, from preschoolers to senior students, has prepared something special for their dear mothers. Of course, there were wishes from the Management, Students' Council and all employees of our school for those special people in our lives. Grades 3 and 6 have prepared beautiful portraits of their beloved Mums.

 

Our eighth graders have started their exams.

 May 24, 2022 at the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn, the eighth grade exams have started. Today is the first day, i.e. the Polish language exam. Our students were in a good mood, although there was a lot of emotion and stress before the exam. Tomorrow the eighth graders are waiting for the queen of sciences - mathematics, and the day after tomorrow the English language. So we wish them: easy tasks, breaking feathers, optimism and a lot of self-confidence! As Virgil said: "Because those who believe they can overcome can." So you can do it for sure!

 

Students of the Primary School in Strawczyn visit the Kielce Dance Theater.

May 13 this year was Friday, but the seventh grades were not unlucky. Contrary. They spent this hot day extremely pleasantly. At the Dance Theater in Kielce, they watched the play "Ballads of Mickiewicz in dance" prepared on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the publication of "Ballads and romances. Modern music accompanied the dancers on stage showing the faithlessness of Świtezianka or the killer from the ballad "Lilies". The break between the pictures was an atmospheric performance by Marek Tercz - a composer, bard and poet from Kielce. After this dose of culture, the 7th graders took a walk around Kielce, following the trail of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. Important places devoted to the Governor were decorated with flowers, as the day before the anniversary of his death was celebrated. The guide's interesting monologue, full of anecdotes, attracted attention, but also the worksheets that the students had to fill out. Attentive listeners coped with this task very well, so they returned to Strawczyn in good spirits. Next departure soon!

 May 12, 2022 4th and 5th grade students went to the Teatr im. Stefan Żeromski for the performance "The Chronicles of Narnia". The spectacle was realized on the basis of obligatory reading, which the students know and like. They watched the play with great interest, sitting in the front rows of the audience. According to the students, the cast was professional, incredibly talented, and nice. They were most delighted with Lucy, Edmund and the faun Tumnus. The trip turned out to be very interesting, and after the performance, we managed to take a commemorative photo with the actors. Some students also got the desired autograph.
