December 12, 2021 at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Strawczyn, students of the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn under the supervision of their guardians, they organized a fair of decorations and Christmas cards. The purpose of the fair was to raise funds for charity. Thanks to the dedication of the residents of the Strawczyn commune, we managed to collect PLN 2,185, which will be divided into 2 parts: the first part is to be allocated to our former student Daria for help in costly rehabilitation, and the second part for the purchase of household appliances for the Single Mother House. At this point, we would like to thank everyone with a good heart who supported our fair: students, parents and teachers who devoted time and made beautiful cards and decorations for our fair, students and teachers who conducted the fair, the parish priest Piotr and vicars Adam and Mateusz for the opportunity to conduct a fair at the Church of the Holy Virgin Mary in Strawczyn and financial support for this action, as well as for everyone who bought cards and Christmas decorations displayed at the fair. How up-to-date here are the words of the Franciscan Father Fabian Kaltbach: “You can not help, you can find many rational arguments for specific cases, so as not to help. But that won't change anything. They will still be hungry, sick, suffering and needy. It is better to sin with an excess of kindness and naivety than with an excess of calculation and distrust ", and also by Father Mieczysław Maliński that" the measure of your humanity is the greatness of your care for another human being ".
