November 20, 2020 We celebrated the International Day of Children's Rights at the Stefan Żeromski Primary School in Strawczyn. Exactly 31 years ago, world leaders made a historic commitment to the world's children by passing the "Convention on the Rights of the Child." It is the most important document on children's rights that has contributed to improving the lives of children around the world, and a great opportunity to remind everyone what children's rights are and that we all have a duty to respect them. On this occasion, until the end of this month, educational lessons, which were conducted remotely, talked with students about the rights of children, their respect and the problems they face around the world. A poster competition related to this subject was also organized, which lasted until December 7. Below we present the competition works made by our students. All these activities are part of the Erasmus + Mult'culture-Promote Education for Cultural Heritage project implemented by our school as well as the work of the School Self-Government and the school club.
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
