At the Primary School Stefan Żeromski in Strawczyn once again hosted musicians of the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Oskar Kolberg in Kielce. This time they came to our school with the story of the great operational work "The Nutcracker" and the music of Piotr Czajkowski. Our students could learn a few threads of this great work: by preparing for the Christmas party, Klara's fascination found under the Christmas tree nutcracker, Klara's sleep and the fight of lead soldiers with the mouse, by visiting the land of sweets. They could also play some of the characters with the beautiful music of Piotr Tchaikovsky and learn about musical instruments such as oboe and viola. Here is a short photo report:
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
