2018 is the
jubilee year marking the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its
Independence. Numerous activities are being carried out as the Independent Day which falls on the 11th November is
approaching. One of them was a performance of living history which took place
at school in Strawczyn. Our institution arranged a historical reenactment group
to meet and lecture students on that historical period: the uprising,
partitions and reborn of the Polish state. A special attention was attached to
soldiers' clothing and military equipment what students found the most attractive.
This blog represents views experience of Erasmus + school partners. Countries with a rich cultural and historical background (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania) joined this project willing to support this initiative. The major aim is to encourage children to a common European space and to raise pupils' awareness about our European identity, Using culture as a tool to improve the students' academic performance combined with entrepreneurial activities designed to obtain.
